The city of Bengaluru generates more than 3000 tones of waste every day,out of which approx 10% gets recycled and 90% land filled. This means that’s farm land and products get highly polluted around these areas and most of the waste will remain in the ground for the next 200 – 1000 years. Waste dumped illegally is contaminating our groundwater.

Sources say that 55% of Bengaluru’sgroundwater is polluted by improper waste disposal alone. You can be part of the movement whose aim is to reverse the current scenario into 90% recycling and 10% landfilling.

The “ Green Map “ shows that now many households in city have started to manage their waste at source and we are getting more and more by the day.
