4 Ways No Waste

The Government of India’s revised Solid Waste Management Rules, effective from 1 April, 2026 introduced a four-way waste segregation system to improve waste processing and resource recovery. Waste must now be separated into Organic Waste, Dry Waste, Sanitary Waste, and Special Care Waste

This visual has been designed to reflect the new Solid Waste Management Rules, which were put in effect from 1st April, 2026.

The 4 way waste segregation method has been developed to better process the various kinds of waste generated, and to encourage individuals, households and bulk-waste generators to streamline waste disposal.
