Malini Parmar, is a social entrepreneur and a proponent of sustainable living. She is the Co-founder of Stone Soup, a women-led organisation that is on a mission to promote green choices from home composting, to sustainable menstruation and natural cleaners. Through her enterprise, prioritises livelihood opportunities for communities while aiming for people-centred development. Previously, she worked in various roles such as CMO, CSO and Head of CSR, in IT and BPO companies. Her global IT work experience spans 25 countries, over 17 years. She is an alumna of the Delhi College of Engineering and IIM Kolkata. She was recently recognised as one of 75 Women Transforming India, by the NITI Aayog, at the Women Transforming India (WTI) Award, an annual initiative to highlight ground-breaking endeavours of India’s women leaders and change-makers. She is also part of the UN Women Industry Disruptor Cohort-2021 and Bangalore Eco Team. She is an avid reader, TEDx speaker and Vipassana practitioner. She is a single parent and lives with her two daughters and two dogs.
